SA Refugee Week Youth Poster Awards Exhibition 2024

Children’s Artspace, Adelaide Festival Centre,
Festival Drive, Adelaide

Each year, hundreds of students participate and from their entries an exhibition of eighty-five artworks are selected. This exhibition features students across South Australia from reception to tertiary studies, in both the public and private schools. Here, we see their responses to the themes of multiculturalism, human rights, cultural diversity, anti-racism and the welcoming of refugees into Australia, as well as how refugees become part of, and contribute towards, the Australian family.

Welcome to 2024 SA Refugee Week!

The Australian Migrant Resource Centre is pleased to bring you the 2024 SA Refugee Week Program with a diverse range of events and activities. From its beginnings over 30 years ago SA Refugee Week has grown to over a month of activities in which we invite you to participate.

The SA Refugee Week Program is convened by AMRC centred upon United Nations World Refugee Day, honouring people who have been forced to flee their homelands and celebrating the positive contributions they have made, and continue to make, to our cultural, social and economic development.

We look forward to celebrating 2024 SA Refugee Week with you!
