About AMRC Wellbeing Circle
Our Story
The AMRC Wellbeing Circle was created to strengthen the physical, social and mental wellbeing of multicultural communities across metropolitan Adelaide.
Developed by the Australian Migrant Resource Centre (AMRC) in partnership with Preventive Health SA, the initiative was shaped through a community-led co-design process involving more than 200 community members and stakeholders. Their insights highlighted the importance of social connection, belonging, culturally responsive support and easier access to wellbeing information and services.
The result is the AMRC Wellbeing Circle, a ‘hub with no walls’ that connects people with activities, information, services and opportunities that support healthier, more connected communities.
