Youth Poster Awards Exhibition 2023

SA Refugee Week 2023 “Finding Freedom”

SA Refugee Week engages over 100 organisations in presenting forums, sports and cultural events and activities to promote harmony, togetherness and celebrate the courage, resilience, strength and contributions of people of refugee background.

The 2022 SA Refugee Week Youth Poster Exhibition, following a seven-week exhibition at the Festival Centre, it continues touring to regional and metropolitan galleries in Victor Harbor, Murray Bridge, West Torrens, Tea Tree Gully and the Adelaide Hills reaching an audience of over 10,000.

The posters are part of a project that invites all young people studying in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions to produce a poster that celebrates the themes surrounding the United Nations International Refugee Convention. These themes include multiculturalism, human rights, cultural diversity, anti-racism, finding freedom and the welcoming of refugees into Australia.
