What an Incredible Day at the AMRC Youth Forum 2024 Celebrating the end of a schools year and the start of the Holiday Season.
Over 160 participants gathered at the Adelaide Festival Centre for the inspiring Youth Forum 2024: Building Up Courage and Breaking Barriers, launched by Ms. Sarah Andrews MP!
The event featured recognitions, inspiring speakers, and interactive sessions:
– Ghan Kilburn City FC was celebrated for their promotion to the FSA State League Two in 2025, with a donation from Khurasan Supermarket & IGA.
– Ritisha Dahal from the Bhutanese Community, a Salisbury High School student, was honored for achieving an extraordinary ATAR of 99.95.
– Three inspiring panelists shared their stories, facilitated by Edward Mickan, 30th Youth Governor of SA.
– Sam Ghamrawi’s keynote emphasized growth beyond comfort.
– An interactive session with the Commissioner for Children and Young People SA, giving an important voice to youth
– Performances from Shukurani and James Bannah and the Chin Community South Australia Youth Group
– Prizes over connections and teamwork and
– Various stalls sharing opportunities and resources for young people
