What is AMRC and what services do you offer?
The Australian Migrant Resource Centre (AMRC) is Non-for-Profit organisation dedicated to supporting migrants, refugees, and their families in Australia. We offer a wide range of services to help individuals successfully settle and integrate into Australian society. These include settlement support, language programs, training and employment assistance, specialised services (Aged Care and Disability support), advocacy and community engagement.
AMRC works to empower people from migrant and refugee backgrounds by providing the resources they need to build a successful life in Australia.
Who can access AMRC services?
AMRC services are available to all those from migrant and refugee backgrounds living in South Australia. We offer tailored support for individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, helping them navigate the settlement process, access essential services, and become a valuable member of community.
Can you help me to get a visa to Australia?
AMRC supports only migrants and refugees who already have Australian visa and living in South Australia. We support with visa only those eligible for the Community Support Progr For migration support and visa options please check: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/
Do you offer services in languages other than English?
Yes! AMRC provides services in multiple languages. We have staff who speak over 51 dialects and we also utilise interpeters where required to ensure that language barriers do not prevent you from accessing our services. If you need assistance in a specific language, please let us know when you get in touch, and we will do our best to support you.
What is the cost of AMRC services?
AMRC services are funded by a variety of grants and funding streams and are generally offered for free. Eligibility criteria may apply, depending on your visa type and how long you’ve lived in Australia.
