Our History

AMRC was established by the Federal Government to settle South East Asian refugees in 1979 and since then has resettled over 150,000 migrants, including those of refugee background, from all continents, assisting them to adjust to life in Australia, become independent, and develop linkages with their local ethnic communities and the broader SA community.
