There are a number of different methods customers can choose to access their services or register an intention to claim a payment, some of which are covered below:
- Register your intention to claim a Centrelink payment – This is where they can register an intention to claim a Centrelink payment, they will contacted by Services Australia about claiming – Note: If eligible, their payments will be backdated.
- Phone us – see phone list, the number they ring will depend on their specific circumstances – for example, a Job Seeker would call 132 850 – If customers don’t speak English they can call the Multilingual phone service 131 202.
- If you have a myGov account linked to Centrelink – Customers can access their account and start their claim straight away.
