On March 19, the Department of Child Protection launched the inaugural Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Child Placement Policy, in partnership with the Department of Education Services and Anglicare SA. The event was the first of its kind in Australia and involved fifty participants from Congolese, Tanzanian, Indian, Pakistani, Afghani and Kurdish backgrounds.
