Video Transcript

Hello, my name is Michelle.

I’m the Manager of the Northern Area Migrant Resource Centre (NAMRC).

We are based on 28 Mary Street, Salisbury.

We just want to let everyone know that the Australian Migrant Resource Centre (AMRC) is available to help to assist families, you and your family with information and support.

We have set up a multilingual telephone service, which is available to everyone.

You can dial (08) 82256 5700 – that is for the Salisbury Northern Area Migrant Resource Centre (NAMRC) or you can dial 8217 9500 – that’s for our Adelaide metropolitan line.

In the regional areas, we also have multilingual telephone support for Murraylands, Mount Gambier, Naracoorte and Bordertown.

We are here to support and to assist.

Besides the multilingual telephone service, we have emergency relief to help you with utility bills, as well as with other concerns.

We are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

You are welcome to give us a ring and we are able to assist you.

In South Australia, the Australian Migrant Resource Centre (AMRC) would like to mitigate the risk to our most vulnerable client groups.

So, it might take a while for us to get back to your enquiries if it’s not urgent.

If you have any concerns in regards to Coronavirus or you have come in touch with someone with the virus, please contact the Health Information Hotline on 1800 020 080, which is available 24 hours, seven days a week.

For those of you who need an interpreter, please ring 131 450 for the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) to assist you.

We would like to thank the frontline and emergency services for keeping the community safe.

Keep safe everyone and take care.
