The AMRC is privileged to have convened Refugee Week for over 21 years with more and more organisations and schools taking part, totalling over 150 organisations and 50 events.

Thank you also to the Assistant Minister to the Premier of South Australia, Hon Jing Lee MLC, Hon Zoe Bettison MP and other VIPs.

The event was made more poignant with Raghad’s speech, a young newly arrived woman from Syria who is now studying at University and an amazing performance by Esther, a young woman from Myanmar who sang about the strength of her people in the face of adversity.
