AMRC convened a Murraylands CSCI Forum bringing together 30 participating organisations in the Murray Bridge Town Hall. These included the Department of Home Affairs, Rural City of Murray Bridge, RDAMR, Pacific Labour Facility, TAFE SA, St Joseph’s, Unity College, Tinyeri, Early Learning Centre, Trees for Life, Costa Mushrooms, Thomas Foods International, Murraylands Training and Employment and SAPOL. They provided updates on their industries and presentations were made by Michael Sedgman, CEO, Rural City of Murray Bridge, Heather Muirhead, Manager of MMRC, Bao Luo, Community Services Officer, MMRC and John Scarvelis, Chair, Murraylands Multicultural Network. The forum was a great opportunity to network, discuss the settlement and engagement of new arrivals, and to further collaborations on sustainable settlement.
