A total of 66 backpacks were donated to AMRC after an anonymous donor became aware that many refugee and migrant children would not have backpacks for the start of the 2022 school year. Thank you to Rotary Club Norwood, Rotary Club Edwardstown, Rotary Club Mitcham and Melita Godson for their generous donations and thank you to all who were involved in the project. The backpacks have been distributed to children filled with lunchboxes, pencil cases, stationery, books, water bottles and toiletries. We wish all the children a safe and happy start to the 2022 school year!
