We have announced important changes to South Australia’s Roadmap for Easing COVID-19 Restrictions.
To fast-track our road to recovery in a safe and responsible way, step 2 has been brought forward to June 1.
Multicultural community centres and places of worship will now be permitted to have 20 people per room, up to a maximum of 80, on their premises as long as they comply with appropriate safeguards and honour the social distancing measures.
With the easing of restrictions this will allow multicultural centres and places of worship to continue their work in supporting the community.
In other news, the second phase of easing restrictions is following a ‘principles-based’ approach which means there isn’t one blanket rule for every business in South Australia.
COVID-Safe plans are currently in place and organisations are required to complete an online form detailing the space(s) they have available.
Thank you for all the work you and your community have done over the last couple of months to flatten the curve of COVID-19 in South Australia.
Let’s continue to work together and follow the health advice as we take the next steps on the road to recovery.
