The newest group settling in Mt Gambier joined in their first Christmas Parade organised by the City of Mount Gambier, Mount Gambier MRC, Mount Gambier North School and other partners. New arrival families attended the Christmas Parade in Mount Gambier as part of learning how Australians celebrate Christmas. Parents enjoyed the event, took lots of photos and videos, and were proud to see their children included in a multicultural float in the parade. During the conversational English lesson, MRC volunteers explained to clients how Christmas is celebrated in Australia and that the Christmas Parade is part of these celebrations.
