Hosted by the Government of South Australia in conjunction with the University of Adelaide, University of South Australia, Flinders University and Torrens University Australia.
The Australian Migrant Resource Centre (AMRC) was one of the presenters at the third annual Regional Summit, aiming to create meaningful career opportunities, and strengthening communities and regions that contribute to South Australia’s social and economic development.
The summit explored workforce issues impacting the regions and the shifting nature of the workforce due to the rapid industrial, social, technological and demographical changes. Effective strategies were shared on how to better engage and retain workers, and collaboration opportunities with tertiary providers were also discussed to identify, plan and respond to workforce requirements.
